Dr. Samantha Myers is the proud owner and founder of Visionary Eye Care, where her commitment to clinical excellence meets her passion for serving Southside and the surrounding communities. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, Dr. Myers has built her career on a foundation of integrity, advanced training, and a genuine desire to help individuals experience life with greater clarity and confidence.

Dr. Myers is an active member of the Alabama Optometric Association and remains a dedicated advocate for the advancement of the optometric profession. Through Visionary Eye Care, her mission is to combine state-of-the-art technology with a warm, patient-centered approach—ensuring every patient receives personalized, comprehensive care tailored to their unique visual needs.

With extensive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disease—including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, diabetic eye conditions, and more—Dr. Myers is committed not only to providing exceptional clinical care, but also to educating and empowering her patients. She believes that informed patients make confident decisions, and she takes pride in offering clear, compassionate guidance at every step of their eye-care journey.

Outside the exam room, Dr. Myers is grounded by her greatest joy—her family. She is happily married to her husband, Nick, and together they are raising their beautiful daughter, with another daughter joining their family soon. Their home is also watched over by their two loyal German Shepherds, Bear and Dakota, who are cherished members of the family. Dr. Myers often attributes her drive, resilience, and compassion to her role as a wife, mother, and caretaker of those she loves.

Whether she is caring for her patients, supporting her community, or spending time with her family, Dr. Myers brings warmth, dedication, and vision to all she does.
